That's right, since the start of our diamondback terrapin project the "Terrapin Conservation Initiative", we've managed to save thousands of these turtles from poachers, road mortality and predators. The best part? We do it as a family. It's all volunteer and it's because we are dedicated to reptiles of all kinds for life. In this video we take you through a mini adventure of dealing with severe heat, biting flies, and salty turtles (salty because they're both angry and come from brackish/salt water!) so we can save a single species to keep their population stable. It's almost summer so grab a drink, sit back, kick up your feet and join us!
