Unlike humans who have three color cones (blue, green, and red), mammals lack the red cone, preventing them from distinguishing shades between red and green. Consequently, while humans may easily spot a tiger, to most mammals, it blends seamlessly into its surroundings. Thus, to its prey, tigers appear nearly invisible due to their effective camouflage.
