If you have a hard time getting your parrot to bed at night, you aren't providing what they need-

Parrots require a safe place to sleep at night. When their cage doesn't represent comfort and safety or if they feel alone, they won't want to go back into their cage at night. This should be a natural behavior-

Parrots need to feel like they are part of the flock, like they are included and a significant member. When they don't feel this, they are less willing participants.

Make sure to inlcude your parrot. If they don't have a cage-mate, recognize that you are it! Consider safely keeping a night cage in your room so that they can see you before bed, so they know where you are, and so they are happy going to their corner of 'the forest' to happily rest for the night.
