“Twinstar Yotta Plus is mainly made for prevention of fish disease, but additionally can prevent green algae too. Twinstar Yotta has advantages comapred to an UV-sterilizer. It has the doubled sterilizing power and a tripled lifespan compared to n UV-sterilizer.

Twinstar kills fish disease or mold spores inflow irregularly from outside or inhibits the growth of them to keep aquarium fish safe. It is designed not to affect important biological balance for preservation of closed ecosystem, so user can manage the aquarium easily and safely, and prevent fish disease.

Fish disease caused by a combination of 3 factors, such as the environment, immunity, and fish pathogens. If the environment, immunity lowered and pathogens increased, fish disease will occur. Pathogens are everywhere in the air or water, or inside of fish body, but healthy fish have immunity against pathogen so that they can?t get a disease. But if water quality declined or water temperature changed drastically, fish?s immunity will decrease and pathogen will increase, then they will have a higher risk of disease.

Twinstar effectively kills fish disease by strong sterilizing factors, so it doesn?t need to run 24 hours like UV sterilizer. ALC algorithm doesn?t affect aerobic bacteria and help to kill pathogen, so it?s safe. Sterilizing power of UV sterilizer in general aquarium can rapidly drop after 3 months but Twinstar keeps performance over 12 months.

Twinstar was evaluated through application test for ecological environment in partnership with National Fisheries Research and Development Institute. Through 1,200 times test s for killing fish diseases, Twinstar was designed for optimum performance and its stable operation in aquarium. Performance evaluation of sterilization passed through E.coli Test and aquarium fish diseases, such as Saprolegniasis, Columnaris , White clouds disease, Edward disease, Herpes virus.

Twinstar inhibits green algae effectively without a harmful influence on aquarium ecological environment, and keeps aquarium clean by eliminating spores from the initial propagation.

Sterilizing factor with microbubbles destroy cell wall of green algae to inhibit growth, and it is nontoxic so harmless to aerobic bacteria. Promoting aquatic plants growth by inhibition of green algae on plants, those plants can elevate absorption of excess nutrients to block nourishment of green algae growth. Therefore it makes Virtuous Cycle ecological environment.

Twinstar promotes plants growth up to 50% at the most. It increases the amount of light on the surface of plants by inhibiting algae from the beginning. Also it activates microelements in water to help to take nourishment.

Under the same conditions, the results of comparative test with Rotala Indica and Glossostigma said that Glossostigma got growth upto 50% and Rotala Indica was upto 40%.”
