Simple and Easy Freshwater Planted Aquarium - Update

Simple and easy steps to create your own planted natural aquarium. An update video giving some details about each step in planted freshwater aquarium creation.

Step 1 - Base layer for elevation. Crushed Lava
Step 2 - Soil Layer, For fertilization and plant nutrition
Step 3 - Sand, used for decoration and cover
Step 4 - Hardscape, usually natural Rocks and wood in planted aquariums
Step 5 - Acent Layer, Small rocks to give a natural feel
Step 6 - Plant the aquarium with different styles of plants
Step 8 - Patience and aquarium maintenance until everything grows naturally

We are not using CO2 in this tank, we used some in the past. However, because of CO2 variations we had an black algae outbreak and we used Hydrogen peroxide, ammano shrimps and Siamese algae eaters to get rid of it.
Lighting is always running at high intensity for 8 hours a day. This LED light has enough power for the type of plants we are keeping.
But some Red and Pink plants turns green because they need more light and more CO2 injections.
