HOW I BRED CLOWN KILLIFISH - PART 2 (THREE GENERATIONS OF FISH??)
Part two of this short series on breeding clown killifish is footage taken over one month since the first video was posted. I will try to do a third and possibly fourth video showing (hopefully) breeding/spawning activity in the second tank with a pair of adults and how many fry are growing out in a third tank. I didn't mention that I am culturing infusoria in attempts to get a little more growth and possibly more fry survival rates. At the end of the video and somewhere in the middle I did mention that my focus moving forward is to relocate the larger adolescent fry because they are preying on the newly hatched fry. The shot at the end of the video is cool to see since it is obvious the adolescent fry was in "hunter" mode. Be on the lookout for the next video in this series ... I hope to have two tanks breeding and a third tank for growout.
