From the management of Marine Mammals to the Future of zoos and aquariums

The first part of this plenary session zooms into the management, care and welfare of marine mammals in human care, as well as the conservation, research and education activities connected to the species. Members of the EAZA Marine Mammal TAG and other experts will give an insight in the latest developments in these fields.

The second part of the session is moderated by renowned journalist, presenter, and author Ana Daniela Soares Ferreira. The panel discussion explores the future of zoos and aquariums and considers on a range of topics, challenges and opportunities for progressive zoos and aquariums.
