A Weekend in My Life | Making My Saltwater Reef Hobby More Enjoyable

Welcome to the first video of 2022! Hooe you all had a wonderful holiday :)
In this video, I'll be sharing an ordinary weekend in my life as a reef keeper in Australia to show you the little improvement that I made to make reefing easier for me.
I got myself a dosing pump! This was something I wanted to have for a long time and finally got the time to set it up properly with the right dosing containers:) I made my dosing solutions based on BRS Mixing Instructions - I will give some updates on how things go. So far, I am really happy with the results. I don't know how I feel about the colours of the airline tubing yet - Let me know what you guys think in the comment section :D

Currently, I am using the dosing pump to dose Sodium Bicarb and Calcium Chloride to my two tanks - Waterbox Cube 20 and Innovative Marine Nuvo 16.

My Dosing Schedule is as follows:
- 5 ml of Sodium Bicarb daily (Dosing 1ml every 5 hours)
- 1.2 ml of Calcium Chloride daily (Dosing 0.3ml every 5 hours)
Please note that the dosing requirement is different from tank to tank based on the water parameters. You'll need to do your own water testing to determine how much to dose.
