In This Aquarium in my class at school live a lot of beautiful Shrimps in every color you could imagine. This Little ecosystem isn‘t just an Aquarium, it’s a place to learn.

The students have learned what is important:

-to do a running-in phase after starting the Aquarium and why
-how to care for the aquarium and change the water
-how to successfully combat the first major algae infestation
-how to do water tests and take samples
-how to correctly use the drip method to add invertebrates like these beautiful Shrimps
-how to feed the animals
-how to enjoy the peace and quiet of the time of observation and use it for a break
-patience
-so much more!

Apart from that, they have learned that the beautiful, colorful Neocaridina can also produce wild-colored animals when mated.
At first I thought that they didn’t want that and choose just one Color/ type of shrimp, but they suprized me and just said:

„But that’s okay, the gray shrimps are beautiful too!“

I like the way they think and that they appreciate every single living creature!
