Today it’s the 5th World Aquarium Day by @OliverKnott_aquascaper . I participate the last years and even though I’m sick at the moment, I didn’t want to miss it and honor this special day today.

A day on which we particularly appreciate our hobby, what accompanies us every day.

We celebrate the fascinating and multifaceted world of aquarium keeping - a hobby that inspires nature lovers, scientists and creative people alike.

Aquariums are not only windows into the underwater world, but also living works of art that capture the beauty and diversity of life beneath the water’s surface.

Whether freshwater or saltwater aquariums, nano tanks or huge display aquariums - each system offers a unique ecosystem that is carefully maintained and designed.

Aquarium keeping connects us with nature, teaches us responsibility and patience, and shows us how fragile and yet resilient life is. Today we honor the passion of all aquarists who create and maintain these small underwater worlds with dedication and knowledge.
