FRESHWATER LIONFISH UPDATE

In this video we’re doing an update on our freshwater lion fish Stone Toad. He’s definitely not a freshwater fish but mislabeled as one. He’s actually a brackish water fish but also lives in full marine waters. The freshwater lion fish can grow to 12in and are notorious ambush predators. The freshwater lion fish is also known as the frog fish, stony fish and its true name is Bullrout. They will anything practically anything that will fit in their mouths. They like subdued lighting, and prefer a sandy to muddy substrate. The freshwater lion fish can make a wonderful pet to any experienced fish keeper. Just remember these fish are “hands off” other than that, if you want a cool wet pet, look no further than the freshwater lion fish!
