I wanted to show how to use a refractometer for saltwater aquariums in today's video. Many of you probably already know its uses, but this is for people just entering the hobby or anyone curious about how to use it. It's a straightforward tool, but it's one you will use often if you have a saltwater or brackish water aquarium. I recommend calibrating this at least once every few months, and it's a tool you buy once and it should be good for a very long time. I have the refractometer I use and the calibration solution listed below for anyone interested.
