I have a special treat on Backyard Feeding: as you may know, we work closely with Wild Birds Unlimited and Peter, an employee in Arlington Virginia, has an extraordinary hobby. He builds bird nests using the same materials that birds do. He’s been kind enough to prepare a video on how and why he does this. Dr. Bird answers a question about why songbirds would eat blossoms off trees and he’s back again on Brome Bird Book discussing 5 new species of frog recently discovered including one that disguises itself as…bird droppings. B is for Barn Owl, and spectacular photography of some 'lovely ladies' on Winner’s Circle.
