This is my Low-tech, No-Filter Nano Jar Aquarium. ❤️????????????
~
I’m using fine sand as the substrate since the plants get their nutrients from the water column. Most of the submerged plants are Anubias Nana Petite, which are slow-growing and not very efficient at absorbing nutrients or filtering the water. To help with filtration, I’ve added Marble Queen Pothos and floating plants (Red Root Floaters and Dwarf Water Lettuce), which are much better at taking in nutrients and keeping the water clean.
