Pet Reptiles Are We Meeting Their Needs? This is our next study read along! This begs the question, are we meeting their needs? Most keepers of pet reptiles would agree that meeting their needs is a priority. However, this study claims that owners of pet reptiles are not meeting their needs as the poor welfare of pet reptiles is so common that owners of pet reptiles are desensitised to poor welfare conditions in which pet reptiles needs are not met. We scrutinise this study, i identify an obvious bias in the study, so to answer if we are meeting their needs, more research on pet reptiles are needed.
