Keep reading for step-by-step instructions on how to dry start a planted tank ????

We spent 5 weeks dry starting our UNS 5N Wolf’s Den before flooding it. Doing this helped the roots of the Dwarf Baby Tears spread and establish themselves into a lush carpet ???? Doing this is easy! Simply:

1. Plant your desired carpeting plant into aquasoil
2. Cover the tank with plastic wrap
3. Keep a regular lighting schedule - we recommend 8 hrs a day!
4. Thoroughly mist the tank 2-3 times a day
5. Open up the plastic for about 15 mins a day
6. Flood when desired ????

Have you tried this method before? ????
