We renovated our Wave Tank - National Marine Aquarium

We renovated our Wave Tank in Plymouth Sound, after 20 years the tank was looking a little tired and was in need of a spruce up! We also fixed the wave pump so the tank now has water movement to mimic the conditions out in Plymouth Sound!

We are the National Marine Aquarium, the largest Aquarium in the UK, based in Plymouth, Devon!
Our Aquarium is home to over 5,000 different marine animals. We house a variety of tropical and native fish species in our exhibits, from Sea Turtles & Sting Rays to Sharks and Shrimp!

Our Atlantic Ocean tank is the deepest aquarium tank in the UK, it is 10,5 metres deep and holds 2,5 million litres of water! Our Eddystone tank has the largest collection of native UK fish in the country.
