We spotted this crocodile rescue in progress. This is when the professional got in the water with the crocodile to secure the crocodile's mouth.

Some facts we were told by the park ranger:
1. This crocodile is aproximately 8 years old.
2. Crocodiles live about 70 years.
3. An american crocodile has the 4th tooth on the lower jaw exposed when the mouth is closed.
4. American crocodiles have a narrow tapered snout.
5. This american crocodile was relocated to a suitable habitat.

The branch of study of reptiles and amphibians is called Herpetology.
