Something about the brutality of raw survival is hard to witness yet so intriguing. The way the flesh, skin and bones and death of one creature sustain the lives of many others.

As it does for many of our lives, we tend to forget that our perfectly packaged meat product is produced from another living essence.

It’s critical to understand that something had to die for us to live, and the circle of life isn’t as attractive as we like to believe.

Witnessing nature in its rawest forms of survival teaches us that. So, when you sit and enjoy your next meal - mainly if it contains meat - remember this.
