VERY Short but Successful Outing! She did her first pass to the lure!

Shortest flying session ever! This was Enedina this morning (9/29/2022) and after losing time in the early morning looking for a different field only to find ‘No Hunting/Trespassing’ signs at every single one, (which is rare in AZ) I cut my loses and went here before too hot; which was pretty much already the case. Had Leroy in the car again so didn’t want him to be ripped off again. Too hot to fly 2 birds the day before and Leroy was the bird to stay grounded. ????

Then! I realized I forgot her flying jesses again! Second time! ???? This time I was not going to not fly her because well into next week is all the birds next window due to a ton of programs and then weather. Which probably why I forgot her jesses, sooo tired with waaaay too much to do.

So! I preyed to the Universe and said she will be fine I’ll fly her for only 2 minutes. I suppose no jesses is no jesses regardless of time out but didn’t want to give her time to get bored and think she can go it alone…and frankly, I would have been a nervous wreck all that time.
And this was only her 6th free flight and only third time truly ‘flying’ the first three were just calls to the fist and lure under controlled situation.

Now yesterday?! She did sooo well and the stupid GoPro won’t let me download the video, says corrupted file…whatever. She did absolutely everything I asked of her and was a perfect Queen Enedina.

She did great today too, I am happy to see that if I do a pass she turns right around immediately. I wasn’t planning to do a pass today (hence her ‘lure whistle twice) but I did so I’m glad I have that information now.
