Shearing Season for Sheep : sheep shearing - What You Need to Know

it's that time of year again when all sheep have their Heavy coats taken off????
These 'girls' are waiting as patiently as a sheep can...well most of them are!
For this flock, it is a joint affair of 3 generations of a lovely family but the Shearers are 3 professionals who are incredibly skilled at the art of Sheep shearing, as you will see!
The gentle way that they handled the 'girls' was so amazing ????
I felt very privileged to be able to film the whole day and these are my clips which underline how Vital it is for sheep to be lovely and cool and comfortable once again????

For those of you who didn't know, the lanolin in the sheep's fleece leaves your hands wonderfully soft ????
