My new bowl is having another bacterial bloom, and also has green water.

This is caused by an imbalance in the tank.

That could be too much light, or excess nutrients in the water and not enough plants to absorb all of those nutrients.

I try to avoid using bottled products, and I’d much rather just let time and water changes be the cure.
