I've had loads of people contact me recently having issues with waste building up in their substrate. It's the last thing you want to see when you have a lovely aquascape with a great group of fish and plants: dirty sand covered in fish poo and algae.

In this video I go through every tip and trick I can think of on how to keep your aquarium sand or gravel spotlessly clean.

Whether you're using a gravel vac, a piece of tubing or trying to get your fish to help do the job for you, I've tried to cover it all in this video.

Throughout the video I have snippets of some of my favourite fish, shrimps and snails that can help you keep your aquarium gravel or sand clean.
