On May 15, 2024 the Amphibium at Hanover Zoo ist opening for visitors. In 2021 Frogs & Friends was asked to redesign a 250 qm restaurant into a house for amphibians. With a unique architecture and exhibition didactic that's unusual for zoos, the Amphibium wants to add into modernizing the zoos of the 21st century. More than a dozen amphibian species are going to be shown here, most of them endangered and part of the Citizen Conservation ex-situ programs.
