On May 15, 2024, the Amphibium will open at Hannover Adventure Zoo. In 2021, Frogs & Friends was commissioned by Adventure Zoo Hannover to create a concept for an amphibian exhibition on the premises of an old zoo restaurant. The result is an amphibian house that combines modern exhibition design, innovative digital and physical information transfer and good animal husbandry. Almost all of the dozen or so species on display are part of the Citizen Conservation breeding program, in which private and institutional wildlife keepers work together to build up sustainable reserve populations in captivity.
