Join me as I take a look inside the UK's largest aquarium, the @National Marine Aquarium (NMA) which is located in Plymouth. The national marine aquarium (NMA) is the UK's largest aquarium that holds a staggering 6 million litres of water, and houses around 4000 animals! It is also home to the largest single viewing panel in the UK, as well as the UK's deepest tank! The National Marine Aquarium was first opened in 1998 and was the first UK aquarium to be opened purely as a charity and for the purpose of education, research and conservation. As an initiative of the Ocean Conservation Trust, it promotes habitat restoration and maintenance, to keep our ocean environments healthy.
