Ok, so before you hate on me for this video like you did with the screaming bunny, (at first, now it's FINALLY getting some nice comments,) I would like to state three facts:
1: This was a toad I had a long time ago. He was prone to squeaking. None of my toads do that now, because they are quite comfortable around me. This one was just extra-skittish. I picked him up only for this video, because I had taken him out for a little run and had to put him back in his habitat. I did not do it often.
2: I always handle my toads gently and with clean hands. I understand that toads can catch diseases through bacteria and oils on the human skin, but like I said, I don't handle my toads often to begin with, and when I do, my hands are always clean. I used to wear gloves, but stopped at some point when I just found gloves annoying, smelly, and gross. It was a weird phase, but the no-gloves thing stuck. That doesn't go for everything, of course, I still wear them a lot in the garden, just not for my toads.
3: The window wells are the toads' chosen home. They come there by themselves, stay there, and live happy lives. It is also a safe place for them to spend the winter during hibernation. Why, they're so spoiled that they don't even have to hunt because I feed them worms during the summer! I also give them pans full of water so that they have a source of moisture. It's like a toad resort!
