Prepare Sweet Potato to grow in my Low-tech No-filter Aquarium
I bought some sweet potatoes from my local supermarket.
I chose one lucky sweet potato, give it a simple wash and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
Next, I secure the sweet potato with some bonsai wire and hang it in a small jar filled with water.
I will wait for the roots to grow and develop before adding it to my low-tech, no-filter aquarium.
The reason I do this is that the sweet potato may not develop roots and could rot. This could affect the water quality of the aquarium, which is really bad for a no-filter nano aquarium.
