The White-breasted Kingfisher is a medium to large kingfisher found in Thailand and other parts of Asia. The birds are often found away from water preferring an open habitat like scrub land, rice fields and even roadside trees and wires.
The birds are distinctive in their looks and calls. They have a wide range of prey including reptiles and amphibians.
