Cockatiels should eat veggie and fruit as they are a good source of minerals and vitamins that are lacking in seeds, millet and nuts. Sometimes it's not so easy to convince your bird to eat vegetables though. I have some birds that really like to eat fresh food, but not all of them!

My trained cockatiels free fly every day it's possible, they are hand reared and trained since very young chicks.
