Vampire Shrimp ???? How Large Do These Freshwater Shrimp Get? #shorts

I've been keeping Vampire Shrimp for almost 10 months, and in my 55-gallon tank, I have 11 of these shrimp along with some Bamboo Shrimp. The female you're looking at now is just over 3 inches in size. Compared to my other Vampire and Bamboo Shrimp, she's over an inch bigger.

Vampire Shrimp are among the larger species of freshwater shrimp, which makes them stand out in any tank. Their impressive size, along with their unique fan-like appendages for filter feeding, makes them a fascinating addition to any aquarium. When fully mature, Vampire Shrimp can grow up to 4 to 6 inches in length. They’re slow growers, often taking a year or two to reach their full size.

Interestingly, unlike most shrimp, male Vampire Shrimp are generally larger than females.
