The plants take care of filtration and oxygenation, so there’s no need for filters or air pumps, making it a low-maintenance option. Photo period: 10 hours with a 4-hour siesta break. According to Diana Walstad, plants consume the available CO2 by around midday. Taking a siesta allows the CO2 levels to replenish, providing enough for the plants to use again in the afternoon.

Once a week with 15% - 20% water change.
