A Simple Low-tech No Filter Walstad Aquarium
❤️☘️????????
~
The Walstad method, developed by Diana Walstad, is a natural approach to fishkeeping that relies on a soil substrate and abundant live plants to create a balanced ecosystem. This setup removes the need for filters or oxygen pumps, as the plants purify the water and supply oxygen, closely replicating a natural environment. If you’re interested, I highly recommend exploring this method—it’s an excellent way to maintain a sustainable, low-maintenance aquarium!
