Low-tech No-Filter Simple Walstad Aquarium ❤️????????????
~
This aquarium follows the Walstad method, a natural approach to fishkeeping that relies on a soil substrate and abundant live plants to create a self-sustaining ecosystem. With plants handling water filtration and oxygenation, there’s no need for filters or air pumps, making it a low-maintenance setup. If you’re curious, I highly recommend exploring Diana Walstad’s method, it’s an excellent way to keep a thriving, eco-friendly aquarium!
