Hi friends...

This video about is Most beautiful eel in the world

Eels are ray-finned fish that belong to the Anguilliformes order (/aewlfrmiz/), which includes eight suborders, 19 families, 111 genera, and over 800 species. From the larval stage to the adult stage, eels go through a lot of changes, and the majority of them are predators. Electric eels (genus Electrophorus), spiny eels (family Mastacembelidae), swamp eels (family Synbranchidae), and deep-sea spiny eels (family Synbranchidae) are all eel-shaped fish (family Notacanthidae). These other clades, on the other hand, developed eel-like forms independently of actual eels. Some kinds of eels are catadromous, meaning they can dwell in both salt and fresh water.
Eels are elongated fish that can range in length from 5 cm (2 in) for the one-jawed eel (Monognathus ahlstromi) to 4 m (13 ft) for the thin enormous moray eel (Monognathus ahlstromi) (Monognathus ahlstromi). Adults range in weight from 30 g (1 oz) to over 25 kg (55 lb). They don't have pelvic fins, and many species don't have pectoral fins either. The caudal fin is joined to the dorsal and anal fins to form a single ribbon that runs the entire length of the animal.Eels make waves that travel the length of their bodies when they swim. They may swim backwards by reversing the direction of the wave.
The majority of eels live in the ocean's shallow waters, burrowing into sand, mud, or amid rocks. Because the majority of eel species are nocturnal, they are rarely seen during the day. They are sometimes spotted living together in holes known as "eel pits." Some eels can be found in deeper water on continental shelves and on slopes as high as 4,000 meters (13,000 ft). Only Anguilla members live in fresh water on a regular basis, although they, too, return to the sea to breed.
The European conger is the heaviest genuine eel. This species has been recorded to grow to a maximum length of 3 m (10 ft) and a weight of 110 kg (240 lb). Other eels, such as the slender gigantic moray, which reaches a length of 4 meters, are longer but weigh less (13 ft).
Eels begin their lives as leptocephali, which are flat and translucent larvae. Eel larvae float in the sea's surface waters, feeding on marine snow, which is made up of microscopic particles that float in the water. Eel larvae transform into glass eels, then into elvers, before moving on to their juvenile and adult homes. Many eels spend their whole lives in the sea, but freshwater elvers of the Anguillidae family must go upstream and overcome obstacles such as weirs, dam walls, and natural waterfalls.
Eels are classified in a variety of ways; some, like FishBase, divide them into 20 families, while others, like ITIS and Systema Naturae 2000, contain extra eel families that are listed below the family with which they are synonymized in the FishBase system. The origin of the freshwater species is thought to be difficult to determine; however, genomic analyses show that they are a monophyletic group that evolved from deep-sea eels.
