Reef bleaching survey video from February 1st 2022 at Nelly Bay, Magnetic Island. 19° 10.235'S 146° 50.938'E
In the two weeks since the last video ( https://youtu.be/txyCCDCcbLo ), we have had some cloud cover and heavy rain, so water temperatures have come down to a more reasonable 29°C and the corals seem to have recovered some colour.
Colonies of Porites, Turbinaria, and Acropora tenuis are still very pale, but the majority of the coral assemblage is looking good at this point.
